Lord, I know your eyes roam......To and fro
I suppose at times, settling on me
Your not a "Respecter" of persons, I know
You treat each of us, equally

My earnest request to you today, Lord
Is to tarry with me for a while.......
I feel so alone, with people all around
My path is cluttered with troubles and trial

Oh, I know most people have the same
With hardships, illness and such
Blessed are we, to call on your name
Knowing you love us .....So very much

Yet today, I need your touch Lord
To talk together, one to one
In my heart, so much hurt is stored
And I’m about to become ....Undone

If only you would stretch our your arms
And order all things....To be right
Then I could feel peace, from these alarms
That torture me ..... All through the night

You have always been my great "Fortress"
My Stronghold, through each plight.....
Rescuing me from the snares of evil
Making all my wrongs....Become right

So Lord, as your eyes roam to earth today
I pray they’ll stay awhile on me.......
Please take all the darkness and storms away
For I place all my trust in Thee.
